I'm not sure if this should go under open sessions or unconference, but here's a suggestion.

Briefly:
“GetUp & MashUp!” would be a workshop showing how to step outside of the traditional librarian role in an entertaining way. Librarians are invited to do an interpretive dance, show a mini movie, act it out, sing or rap, recite some bad poetry, or find another ‘inappropriate’ way to speak up. 3 minutes.
Mkay? :)

ha!!ha!!ha!! I can imagine all the 'crazy acts' but it will be a good way of networking and we could learn a thing about other cultures too. (I can imagine me dancing the traditional Setswana dance) lol...

Great idea!

Yes - this could be a good way to network and get-to-know-eachother. Think I know a couple of people who are attending the conference that could be talked into this Smile

Great, I'm sure lots of interesting ideas would pop out in no time.
It needs a bit of elaboration of course, but if NL crew approves it I'm willing to help out Wink

I quite like this suggestion.

I quite like this suggestion. I assume the 3 minutes are per presentation, and not the time allocated for the full workshop Wink

I am joking, of course:))

But I am thinking also about some three minutes' performance. It could be the most creative workshop at the conference:)
