I am currenting working with the LRCN in Abuja.

The Librarians' Registration Council of Nigeria, a regulatory agencies set up by Decree in Nigeria. It is mandated to regulate the practice of librarians and information science profession, charter Librarian, determine the minimum standards librarians and libraries, provide capacity building for them and accredit library courses in higer institutions and much more.

For now i believe its a new model which can be adopted by various countries.

I will like to share the journey and the impact it has on the LIS in Nigeria.
