During the conference 20-21 June there will be 7 open sessions:

4 workshops will be open for ideas from you - the Next Library Crew will make them happen. Please share your ideas and suggestions before 23 May 2011.
The Next Library Crew will decide the topics for these 4 workshops and make agreements with moderators to organize the workshops.

Social Reading seems at first glance to be an oxymoron, or perhaps even a paradox! Because what, if any thing, connects the solitary reader absorbed in his or her private reading experience with the shared nature of human interactions? Nothing, you might think; reading is by definition individual, social interactions shared.
